Welcome to the UNITy and eMoodie Psychedelic Smartphone Study! We're excited to invite you to join us on this journey of discovery, exploring the potential connection between language and the transformative effects of psychedelic drugs on consciousness, mental health, and well-being.
About the Study
Our groundbreaking study aims to unlock the secrets behind the positive outcomes associated with psychedelic drug use, such as neuroplasticity, enhanced consciousness, and improved mental health and well-being. We're particularly interested in the role that language, in combination with other factors, may play in mediating these changes.
Who We're Looking For?
If you've taken a classical psychedelic (such as LSD, psilocybin/mushrooms, DMT, ayahuasca, mescaline, etc.) within the last 12 months, have a smartphone and internet access, and are passionate about contributing to psychedelic and mental health research, we'd love for you to participate!
What’s Involved?
As a participant, you'll receive notifications asking you to record a few short videos a day, on three randomly selected days over one week. During the recordings, you'll be asked to describe your thoughts just before responding to the notification. You'll also fill in a number of questionnaires that capture various aspects of your well-being and personality, as well as your experience with psychedelics.
Your time commitment for all components in this study should not exceed 2 hours. And as a thank-you for your participation, participants who complete all questionnaires will receive a £10 UK bank transfer to their UK bank account or a £10 gift voucher.
